When to Go:
Almería is a year-round destination the average temperature is 18ºC and it stays at a pleasant 24.6ºC during the summer. The beautiful; crystal clear, clean sea is normally a lot warmer than the air. Once you get in, you will never want to get out. Almería also has some excellent beaches; the longest stretches of coastline in the whole of Andalusia.
Going Around:
Almería is not well served by either railways or buses, so the idea of hiring a car is definitely a good idea if you plan on exploring at all.
